CUBIC is committed to respecting the privacy of users and to the protection and security of their personal data. Accordingly, users are informed about the way in which CUBIC collects, processes and protects the personal data provided to it through its online platforms. Users should carefully read this privacy policy, which has been drafted in a clear and simple manner, so as to be easy to understand, and freely and voluntarily determine whether they wish to provide their personal data to CUBIC.

Users also guarantee that they are of legal age and that the information provided is true, accurate, complete and up to date and that they will be liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from any breach of such obligation. If data provided belong to a third party, users guarantee that they have informed the third party of the aspects contained herein and obtained their consent to provide the data to CUBIC for the purposes specified above.

Ⅰ.What kinds of information do CUBIC collect?

To provide the CUBIC service, we must process information about you. The types of information we collect depend on how you use our Services. You can learn how to access and delete information we collect by visiting the CUBIC website

Information you provide

        1. Information and content, you provide. CUBIC collects the content, communications and other information you provide when you use our service, including when you sign up for an account, create or share content, and message or communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content you provide (like metadata), such as the location or the date a file was created. It can also include what you see through features we provide. Our systems automatically process content and communications you and others provide to analyze context and what's in them for the purposes described below. Data with special protections: You can choose to provide information when you sign up with CUBIC. This and other information (such as racial or ethnic origin, philosophical beliefs or trade union membership) could be subject to special protections under the laws of your country.
  1. Networks and connections. We collect information about the people, accounts and groups you are connected to and how you interact with them across our Services, such as people you communicate with the most or groups you are part of. We also collect contact information if you choose to upload, sync or import it from a device (such as an address book or call log or SMS log history), which we use for things like helping you and others find people you may know and for the other purposes.
    a) Social Media

You can engage with us through social media websites or through features such as plug-ins or applications on our websites that integrate with social media sites. When you engage with us on or through third party social media sites, plug-ins, or applications, you may allow us to have ongoing access to certain information from your social media account (e.g., name, e-mail address, photo, gender, birthday, posts you make).

If you post information when you interact with our websites through social media sites, plug-ins or other applications, depending on your privacy settings, this information may become public on the Internet. b) Mobile Devices

If you access our websites or applications from your mobile device, we may also collect your unique device identifier and mobile device IP address, as well as information about your device’s operating system, mobile carrier and your location information.

c) Your usage. We collect information about how you use our Services, such as the types of content you view or engage with; the features you use; the actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the time, frequency and duration of your activities.

d) Information about transactions made on our Services. If you use our Services for purchases or other financial transactions, we collect information about the purchase or transaction. Ⅱ.Scope of Application and Responsibility

This privacy policy applies to all personal data collected by CUBIC, through its online platforms.

The security of your personal information is important to us and we have implemented reasonable physical, technical and administrative security standards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, alteration or destruction. We protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use or disclosure, using security technologies and procedures, such as encryption and limited access. Only authorized individuals access your personal information, and they receive training about the importance of protecting personal information.

Our service providers and agents are contractually bound to maintain the confidentiality of personal information and may not use the information for any unauthorized purpose.


Ⅲ. Purposes of the processing and legal basis

CUBIC will process user data, automatically, for the following specific purposes:

We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information such as when you contact us with inquiries, sign up or join to one of our events, register for access to the CUBIC Platform, subscribe to our newsletters, or use certain CUBIC Services.

The legal basis for processing your data for the purposes of joining CUBIC Platform, and answering the inquiries, is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract; and legitimate interests pursued by the controller.

The legal basis for processing your data for joining our events and the subscription to our newsletter is the given consent. Processing for the aforementioned purposes will be necessary for CUBIC to provide its services. Such processing shall always be carried out with the prior consent of the user, except in those cases in which there is a legal obligation for CUBIC, for which the data must be processed.

The data subject is informed that his/her personal data need to be processed by a third party, for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party.

Such processing shall always be carried out in compliance with applicable regulations and when the user's fundamental rights and freedoms do not prevail over such legitimate interests.


Ⅳ.Data processors

User data may be processed by a suitable service provider contracted by CUBIC. This service provider will only process data for the purposes established by CUBIC, following its precise instructions and in strict compliance with legal regulations on personal data protection, information security and other applicable regulations.



We may share your information both internally within the CUBIC, and externally with CUBIC’s partners and with those you connect and share with around the world in accordance with this policy. Your information may, for example, be transferred or transmitted to, or stored and processed in the United States or other countries outside of where you live for the purposes as described in this policy. These data transfers are necessary to provide the services set forth in CUBIC and to globally operate and provide our Services to you.

a) Within CUBIC: We may share your personal information with CUBIC entities, brands, and divisions, including our subsidiaries and affiliated companies, in order to serve you, including for the activities listed above. We do not rent, sell or otherwise disclose personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing use. We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the circumstances discussed below.

b) Business Partners: For certain service offerings, we may disclose personal information to business partners who partner with us to offer those services. These business partners operate as separate controllers, and are responsible for their own compliance with data protection laws. You should refer to their privacy notices for more information about their practices.

c) Authorized Service Providers: We may disclose your information to service providers we have retained (as processors) to perform services on our behalf (either in relation to services performed for our clients, or information which we use for its own purposes, such as marketing). These service providers are contractually restricted from using or disclosing the information except as necessary to perform services on our behalf or to comply with legal requirements. These activities could include any of the processing activities that we carry out as described in the above section, ‘Data processors.’ For example: (i) service providers who manage our IT and back office systems and telecommunications networks; (ii) analytics and search engine providers who assist us in the improvement and optimization of our websites; (iii) subject matter experts retained to support a client engagement.

d) Legal Requirements and Business Transfers: We may disclose personal information (i) if we are required to do so by law, legal process, statute, rule, regulation, or professional standard, or to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other legal request. (ii) in response to law enforcement authority or other government official requests, (iii) when we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or financial loss, (iv) in connection with an investigation of suspected or actual illegal activity or (v) in the event that we are subject to a merger or acquisition to the new owner of the business. Disclosure may also be required for company audits or to investigate a complaint or security threat.

e) International data transfers: User data processing may involve their disclosure to third parties established in countries outside the territory of the United States, Our affiliates and third parties may be based locally or they may be overseas countries, some of which have not been determined by the European Commission to have an adequate level of data protection. CUBIC assures the user that those data processors have adequate or appropriate safeguards to process the personal data as its established on the Privacy Shield framework, whereby data recipient organizations are recognized as ensuring an adequate level of protection, for example, where we receive requests for information from law enforcement or regulators, we carefully validate these requests before any personal information are disclosed. Examples of countries we transfer personal information to include but are not limited to, the United States of America, China.


Ⅵ.Retention period

CUBIC will keep the user's personal data only for the time needed to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.

CUBIC stores personal data as long as you are registered to use our services, and CUBIC stores the data until it is no longer necessary to provide Services or until your account is deleted - whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. If you submit a copy of your government-issued ID for account verification purposes, CUBIC delete that copy 30 days after submission. However, we may retain Personal Data for an additional period as is permitted or required under applicable laws.

When you delete your registration or signup information, CUBIC deletes things you have posted or submitted, and you won't be able to recover that information later. To delete your registration or sign-ups at any time, please visit the CUBIC website or contact CUBIC if there is any questions. Even if we delete your Personal Data it may persist on backup or archival media for an additional period of time for legal, tax or regulatory reasons or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.

Ⅶ.User Rights

Users may, at any time and free of charge, exercise their rights of access, rectification or deletion, opposition, limitation and portability of their data by means of contacting us by email or at the address specified at the top of this Privacy Policy, in the terms established in the regulations in force.

Users are informed that if they consider that CUBIC has infringed, or may have infringed, their rights under applicable data protection regulations, they may submit a complaint to the relevant Control Authority.

Users may, at any time and free of charge, exercise their rights of access, rectification or deletion, opposition, limitation and portability of their data by means of contacting us by email or at the address specified at the top of this Privacy Policy, in the terms established in the regulations in force.
