We collect Personal Data from you when you voluntarily provide such information such as when you contact us with inquiries, sign up or join to one of our events, register for access to the CUBIC Platform, subscribe to our newsletters, or use certain CUBIC Services.
The legal basis for processing your data for the purposes of joining CUBIC Platform, and answering the inquiries, is the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract; and legitimate interests pursued by the controller.
The legal basis for processing your data for joining our events and the subscription to our newsletter is the given consent. Processing for the aforementioned purposes will be necessary for CUBIC to provide its services. Such processing shall always be carried out with the prior consent of the user, except in those cases in which there is a legal obligation for CUBIC, for which the data must be processed.
The data subject is informed that his/her personal data need to be processed by a third party, for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party.

User data may be processed by a suitable service provider contracted by CUBIC. This service provider will only process data for the purposes established by CUBIC, following its precise instructions and in strict compliance with legal regulations on personal data protection, information security and other applicable regulations.
We may share your information both internally within the CUBIC, and externally with CUBIC’s partners and with those you connect and share with around the world in accordance with this policy. Your information may, for example, be transferred or transmitted to, or stored and processed in the United States or other countries outside of where you live for the purposes as described in this policy. These data transfers are necessary to provide the services set forth in CUBIC and to globally operate and provide our Services to you.
a) Within CUBIC: We may share your personal information with CUBIC entities, brands, and divisions, including our subsidiaries and affiliated companies, in order to serve you, including for the activities listed above. We do not rent, sell or otherwise disclose personal information with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing use. We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the circumstances discussed below.
b) Business Partners: For certain service offerings, we may disclose personal information to business partners who partner with us to offer those services. These business partners operate as separate controllers, and are responsible for their own compliance with data protection laws. CUBIC will keep the user's personal data only for the time needed to achieve the purposes for which they were collected.
CUBIC stores personal data as long as you are registered to use our services, and CUBIC stores the data until it is no longer necessary to provide Services or until your account is deleted - whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things like the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. If you submit a copy of your government-issued ID for account verification purposes, CUBIC delete that copy 30 days after submission. However, we may retain Personal Data for an additional period as is permitted or required under applicable laws.
When you delete your registration or signup information, CUBIC deletes things you have posted or submitted, and you won't be able to recover that information later. To delete your registration or sign-ups at any time, please visit the CUBIC website or contact CUBIC if there is any questions. Even if we delete your Personal Data it may persist on backup or archival media for an additional period of time for legal, tax or regulatory reasons or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.
